THE FIRST “COMPLETE” ROYAL ARCH CHAPTER INSTALLATION TO TAKE PLACE IN SINGAPORE SINCE COVID.
Tuesday 4th October,
Freemason’s Hall, Coleman Street, Singapore
On Tuesday 4th October St. George Chapter of Royal Arch Masons conducted its Installation Convocation in Singapore. The Installation was much like many other Chapter Convocations, save for one peculiar respect - it was the first “complete” Royal Arch Chapter Installation to take place in Singapore since COVID. Ever since the local regulations were relaxed to permit Chapter Convocations to resume, the Installation of every Royal Arch Chapter in Singapore since then has had at least one of the Principals to be installed be afflicted with COVID. The installation convocation of St. George Chapter was the first one to be held where all three Principals were successfully able to be installed! The convocation was presided over by the Deputy Grand Superintendent, E. Comp. Beppi Forster-Lau (for whom St. George Chapter is his “mother” Chapter). At the Installation Convocation, E. Comp. Charles Tan Kok Yong was installed as First Principal, E. Comp. Bruce Donald Blanckley was installed as Second Principal and E. Comp. Andrew Tow Chew Choy was installed as Third Principal.
